Sprint Nextel Newest SSPA Member

Leading Supplier of Advanced Mobile Voice and Data Services Joins Community

The Service & Support Professionals Association (SSPA) is pleased to announce that Sprint Nextel (NYSE: S) has joined the association becoming the first member from the wireless industry.

“Wireless carriers face increasing challenges from complex technologies, interdependency between products, and the varying levels of technology sophistication in their customers. This, coupled with the explosion of new products and services available to consumers, poses new challenges and opportunities for wireless carriers,” said Bill Rose, SSPA Founder and Executive Director.

Sprint Nextel joins Comcast, Sony, Circuit City, Toshiba, Sharp, Motorola, Nokia, HP Consumer and other top-tier consumer-based organizations who have joined the SSPA to improve their customers’ experience.

"Sprint Nextel is committed to and focused on improving our customers’ satisfaction,” said Cindy Rock, senior vice president, Consumer Service at Sprint Nextel.  “Teaming up with the SSPA is just one more way Sprint Nextel is working to improve customer service and create a differentiated experience for our customers.”
