ViryaNet Debuts New Program

ViryaNet, a provider of integrated mobile and Web-based software applications for workforce management and the automation of field service delivery, announced Optimizer Challenge, a new program to help companies reduce their field service expenses by improving the assignment and execution of field work.

The program, targeted primarily towards the utility and telecommunications sectors, invites companies to provide sample work-order data. ViryaNet uses that data to re-create optimal work assignments and call logistics. ViryaNet’s Service Scheduler provides the necessary core functionality for the program.

ViryaNet offers schedule optimization, which evaluates all potential assignments against the available and capable resources, including people (and their skills), parts, and materials. It also provides the least costly route of each technician across service assignments.
