SSPA Program Committees to Form in San Diego

I have exciting news! The SSPA Advisory Board and SSPA Staff have completed the initial phase of developing the SSPA Program Committees. Since I founded the SSPA in 1989, SSPA Members and I have had long discussions regarding what exactly is “world-class” service, and how do we develop commonly accepted definitions of standards for the service delivery to our customers. Not just generic standards, but specific definitions on specific service delivery areas; with the end result being a definitive White Paper on each issue.

Through the efforts of the Advisory Board and the Committee Development Task Force (CDTF), we have developed a Mission Statement, Committee Structure and Committee goals and tasks.

Mission Statement
SSPA Program Committees work with SSPA to better the support industry by co-authoring, developing and championing selected SSPA programs according to a defined committee operations process.

Then from your feedback to a survey we distributed, the CDTF has selected 3 Committees to launch the program. These are the issues that were most frequently listed as “what keeps you awake at night”.

Chairpersons have been selected and now it is your chance to get involved. Each of the committees listed below will be holding a pre-conference committee forming meeting at the SSPA Conference @ San Diego, Monday, April 5, 2004, 10:00 to 11:30am, Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego.
