SSPA’s Goal: Continuous Improvement

Continuous improvement isn’t just important to support centers, it’s important to the SSPA as well. The SSPA is constantly looking for ways to improve the value we deliver to our members. We’ve taken steps to improve our conference content, we’ve improved SSPA Research projects, improved our programs, and we’ve improved the SSPA News. Most of what we’ve done has been the direct result of member feedback and we’re asking for your help again.

As we strive to continue improving the content and delivery of SSPA News. We have a short survey we need you to complete. It includes questions about frequency, quality, and quantity of the articles you receive. There are also questions about alternative delivery modes for you to consider.

For example, I’ve heard from some members that there’s just too much content delivered each week and it’s difficult to keep up. A solution to that might be a less frequent publishing schedule, every other week, with slightly more content in each issue. Some would like to be able to read the newsletter offline and need an easy way to download the content -- maybe as a PDF or a print version.

As you can see, there are a lot of options but we wouldn’t do anything without getting your input. That way, we can evolve SSPA News into an even more valuable benefit for SSPA community members. If after taking the survey, you have more input, please send me an email to let me know. I’ll discuss it with our editor and we’ll implement it if we can. He’d also like to hear from you if you’re interested in writing articles and sharing your expertise in SSPA News.
