Best Practices Conference and Expo Call for Speakers

One of the benefits of being part of the SSPA community is the sharing service and support industry best practice business processes with your peers. Being an active member of the community is extremely rewarding. Start today by applying to speak at the SSPA Conference @ San Diego, in March 2005. Speaking enables you to raise the bar for all support organizations while also advancing your career.

We’re looking for speakers who can deliver proven best practices and business process for service and support professionals. The five tracks for the SSPA Conference @ San Diego Best Practices Conference and Expo are:
Operations Readiness – How to effectively manage workflow, escalation, surveys, benchmarking SLAs, and more.
Executive Insight – Financial models that work, partnering for success, customer satisfaction and how to manage accounts, is offshoring for you, etc.
Technology & Tools – Make technology and tools work for you. What applications enable you to implement best practices and effective business processes.
Services Marketing – NEW: Show how services marketing and support can work better together. What are the best practices in selling support services. What marketing strategies are best when selling IT services. What do new service opportunities look like and how can they be sold..
People & Management – Compensation and incentives, staffing models, training and certification, transitioning to outsourcing, etc.

The application process is painless and the rewards of sharing your ideas and experiences are many. If you’re interested in taking advantage of this speaking opportunity, complete the speaker application form by Nov. 15, 2004. We encourage both first-time and experienced speakers to participate. Applications will be reviewed by our conference content committee to ensure we put together sessions that address the most important issues you face today.

If you have an topic idea that doesn’t seem to fit neatly into one of our tracks, please take the time to submit an application anyway. If selected, we’ll find a way to fit it into the agenda.

If you have questions about the application process or want to discuss your ideas before submitting an application, email David Kodama, SSPA Editor.
