Can you support your remote employees?

Imagine for a moment if the individuals who needed your support were no longer sitting in offices just down the hall or even on another floor in your building, but were dispersed all over the world. The U.S. Census Bureau’s teleworking figures reveal that more than 4.2 million people telework in the U.S. today, which is an astounding 23% increase over previous years, and “[t]echnology that makes remote work easier, and employers’ gradual acceptance of off-site work, is driving the increase.”

• 17% of employees work from home at least once a week.
• 65% of current jobs can be done through teleworking.
• 17% of employees with children telework, while nearly 14% of employees without children telework.
