ROI Committee Call for Participation

The 2005 SSPA Support Demand Research Series created quite a buzz at our Conference @ Savannah, so much so that we’ve been developing a new SSPA committee to address issues including: How to model and articulate the benefits and ROI support organizations provide, how to preserve support and maintenance revenues, and more. The SSPA Service & Support ROI Industry Committee will work aggressively over the coming months to develop a financially sound platform for demonstrating the ROI on support and maintenance.

Many members have already volunteered for this committee, to do the work required to provide the SSPA community with guidance and methods to communicate their value propositions both internally and to customers. To all of you ready to contribute your valuable time, thank you. We will be finalizing the committee participation soon.

In taking a hard look at the work that needs to be done, we’ve concluded that we need a few more people from specific roles and backgrounds to complete the committee. Our vision for the committee includes several sub-committees that require a participation from:

• CIOs

• Marketing Consultants

• Sales Consultants

• Management Consultants

• Vendors

• Pricing Consultants
