The SSPA would like to invite you to participate in several important programs that foster the advancement of the services and support industry:

Contribute an Article to the SSPA News

The SSPA News community now has more than 17,000 subscribers so your efforts will be well-read by other support professionals. The SSPA is an organization for members, by members and you can help us deliver valuable information to other members by writing industry articles, tips, and case studies for the SSPA News.

What we're looking for:

SSPA News is published to serve the needs of our members by providing targeted, relevant content to allow readers to act and gain value. The majority of the information developed is by SSPA community member peers, SSPA staff and researchers. SSPA article proposals should focus on providing perspective and guidance that can immediately be applied. We publish management- and technical-level articles that provide independent, expert advice.

How to submit article proposals:

Start by contacting our editor, Shawn Santos, by email. Email is preferred since the documented discussion can provide clarity and may even evolve into the outline or description of the article. The initial email should be brief and include a short biography, a short description of the article, the main points of the article, and what readers will be able to do once they read the article. Remember, your proposal need only be a couple of paragraphs or a short outline but try to include enough detail to support your pitch.

What to expect :

We will be prompt in evaluating and responding to your proposal. SSPA News is published on the second Tuesday of each month. If your proposal is accepted, you will be asked to submit your article no later than seven days before the publishing date to allow for any possible edits. You will be asked to submit an article from 500 - 1500 words, a compelling title, and a 50 word abstract for promotion.

Please click here for more details, or email Shawn Santos directly.
